This vibrant little town was chosen by the magazine Harrowsmith Country Life as one of the 10 most beautiful small towns in Canada. This small municipality situated in South-Eastern New Brunswick along the Strait of Northumberland, will make you experience the Acadian way of life. Besides the Musée de Kent, you will be able to appreciate Le Pays de la Sagouine from the works of well-known writer Antonine Maillet, the Irving EcoCentre at the Bouctouche Dune with its sandy beach and its interpretation center, the walking trails, farmers' market, riverside park with the statue of Bouctouche born industrialist K.C. Irving, the Saint John the Baptist and St. Lawrence churches as well as the commemorative Irving chapel. You will also be able to enjoy a varied gastronomy of seafood and Acadian cuisine.
