This year, we are presenting an exposition of drawings done in India ink by Léopold Léger, a local artist.
Gilbert Girouard was born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on October 26, 1846. All of the lumber needed for the construction of the convent was cut, free of charge, at his sawmill in Bouctouche. A politician and a patriot, he was elected Member of Parliament for Kent County at the federal elections of 1878 and 1882.

This exposition contains cameras of all kinds, some dating from the 1880's and many from early 20th century. Mister Elide Albert, architect by profession, started his collection approximately 50 years ago. Born in Caraquet, he moved to Bouctouche with his family when he was 7 years old and has been a resident ever since.
